Apple Service Technical Procedures Manuals

2014 Update: 072-0062 (Level I Technical Procedures binders)

I’ve obtained Volumes I, II, III and V of the Apple Service Level I Technical Procedures Manuals (Part #072-0062).  There are fourat least five tomes in this series.  Volume I (227 MB PDF), Volume II (306 MB PDF), and Volume III (243 MB PDF) and Volume V (131.5 MB PDF) are done.  I’ll gladly do the other binder(s) as well, if I can obtain them.

The PDFs below are the Apple Service Technical Procedures binders.  Henry Courbis of ReactiveMicro.com did all the scanning and Sean Fahey of A2Central.com pointed him to us to host them.  So, first a big thanks to Henry and Sean for doing all the hard work.

I went through the PDFs and did basic cleanup: removing blank pages, cropping and running them through Acrobat’s OCR process; but the real credit goes to Henry.

This set isn’t quite complete.  Missing are the Apple Service Technical Procedures for Laser Printers and Apple Service Technical Procedures for Lisa/Macintosh XL manuals.  The Lisa manual is available at VintageApple.org.

French IIGS programmer Antoine Vignau of Brutal Deluxe fame passed on a zip file containing a few of his Technical Procedures scans.

Here’s what’s in the zip archive:

  • Apple 3.5 Drive (rev. Oct 88)
  • Apple FDHD/SuperDrive (rev. Oct 89)
  • Apple PC 5.25 Drive (rev. Oct 87)
  • Macintosh IIci (Sept 89)
  • Macintosh Portable (rev. Oct 89)

Download it here. (8.66 MB (9,091,528 bytes))

Thanks, Antoine!
