Lexicheck for Apple III

This is the user’s manual for Lexicheck for the Apple ///, a retail spell check add-on for Quark’s Word Juggler word processor. Seems odd to remember a time when word processors didn’t come with things like spell checking baked in… The pages are numbered to match the Word Juggler manual so you can easily insert them in the proper section of the three-ring binder.

This PDF contains the Word Juggler User’s Manual, product brochures, registration card, keyboard overlays and the Helpful Hints reference card published by Quark. Word Juggler was the first word processor for the Apple ///. In 1981 Tim Gill bought a /// and after realizing Apple didn’t have any software ready, borrowed $2000 from his parents, locked himself in his apartment and got to programming. He emerged a few months later with the first version of Word Juggler. And that’s how Quark was founded. Or so the story goes…
